Bespoke Work

David Hardy offers both limited edition and bespoke pieces, and although the latter is central to his activities he is able to personalise many of his readily available pieces on request.

For bespoke work he often handmakes objects that have a particular ceremonial use, symbolic meaning or both. Often this type of work may require certain procedures to be applied as part of the handmaking process, once he understands your requirements he will be able to advise if it's something he is able to include. As with any custom made work, you may require that your finished piece is kept private to you, which is just a matter of letting David know so steps can be taken to protect your finished piece from public view.

Custom made work covers a wide range of options, so having a good general idea of  what you'd like is beneficial. When your specifications are agreed, David will provide a quote for the completed work including the payment terms which are; A half payment of the total amount up front with the remaining half paid on completion and before dispatch of the finished piece. Please note there are no refunds on custom work once it is begun. In the instance a piece is made from precious metal, David's makers mark is registered with The Goldsmiths' Company, London Assay Office.

If you would like to discuss the possibility of a bespoke piece or collection, the first stage is to contact David, so he can talk about what it is you'd like, and when you will need it by...
